So Much More To Know | The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1 | Youth Trilogy

We’re ready to dive into our next round of featured albums, The Youth Trilogy, and yes- it’s all still part of our SO MUCH MORE TO KNOW Campaign! 💜

Let’s keep talking!

We continue to move right along the BTS chronological music timeline to the Spring of 2015 and their first album from this Youth Trilogy, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1” and enter the “I NEED U” Era. This is considered another mini-album (or EP) and the two lead tracks include “I Need U” and “Dope.” Other favorites like “Boyz With Fun” and “Converse High” are from this album too. All tunes we hope to touch on over the next several days!

Note: you may see us abbreviate this album as “HYYH” which denotes the initials of the Korean translation, “Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa” or “Hwayangyeonhwa.”

Here is what Big Hit has to say via their official BTS discography:

“BTS has come back with their third mini album, ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1.’ No longer just young boys, the album is an introduction to BTS as a group that continues to grow and develop. In each track are distilled poetic and pop emotions that allows the listener to sense both the soft and the resounding musical transformation of the group.

After successfully concluding the “School Trilogy” that discusses the main topics of interest for teen- dreams, happiness and love- the new album begins to discuss ‘youth.’ BTS has chosen the theme of ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life,’ – the start of one’s young adulthood in which beauty coexists with uncertainty.

The ‘Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1’ focuses on the uncertain future more than the glamour of youth. In addition, while previous lyrical work had been credited to the rappers (RM, SUGA and j-hope), the vocal members (Jin, Jimin, V, Jung Kook) have now added their names to the credits for this album’s producing and songwriting.”

Wow- it’s super apparent with this work that our members are maturing and evolving more than ever. And it’s still less than two years since their initial debut (6/2013).

“HYYH” was released on April 29, 2015 and with it we saw a more savvy Comeback complete with teaser trailers and a full push via social media. As the guys become more popular and more visible, we see them doing more detailed interviews and overall press. And they seem more comfortable in front of the camera in these clips; less schoolboy and more early 20-something, young musicians.

This album reached #1 on the Gaon (South Korean) Chart and six of its tracks cracked the Top 20 on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart with “I Need U” charting at #4 and “Dope” at #3. The world was surely getting to know BTS!

We hope YOU enjoy getting to know more about BTS, right along with us, too! Let’s continue on our journey talking all about their albums and have a fun week with “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1” – there is still SO MUCH MORE TO KNOW!
